The idiot plot totally ruined the movie for me. Pratt and Omar Sy played the only characters of any species who didn't have a brain the size of a walnut.

Sounds very similar to another BBC series, SPACE ISLAND ONE, which aired for a brief time on the Canadian sci-fi channel SPACE.
