[Also released as: "The Watts Monster"]
Ex-Rams running back Bernie Casey plays a noble doctor who works in a Watts public clinic, conducting experiments to find a cure for liver disorders.
The serum he concocts turns him into a white-faced albino "Mr. Hyde". The doctor's hatred of prostitutes causes him to go on midnight murder sprees in the streets of the squalid Watts district. Investigating detective Ji Tu Cumbuka closes in on the killer.
Also starring Rosalind Cash ("The Omega Man"). Directed by William Crain ("Blackula"). _________________ ____________

Just to be pedantic ('cause I do that so well), I should point out the odd fact that the title of this movie is not
DR. BLACK AND MR. HYDE, but simply DR. BLACK MR. HYDE. Perhaps they intend a slash in there...DR. BLACK/MR. HYDE.
Whatever, and whyever, there really isn't an "and". _________________ Man need not kneel before the angels,

Thanks, Rick! I removed the "and".
IMDB actually does have a comma, listing it as Dr. Black, Mr. Hyde.
But, by gum, the poster does NOT have the comma — and neither does the title work on the YouTube copy! So, you're absolutely correct!

This comes from a time when every film producer was jumping on the blaxploitation bandwagon. I'm surprised we never got The Invisible Brutha, The Hunchback of Harlem, or The Blummy! |

It actually took me a moment to realize that The Blummy was "The Black Mummy"!
How about these titles for unmade movies. (Hopefully.)
