Just learned terrible news from Tim Lucas that Bill Warren has died after too many years of ill health. I don't think I need to say more about Keep Watching the Skies, or all his journalism and writing on the topic of science fiction cinema. He was brilliant, abrasive, curmudgeonly, and always fascinating. Farewell, friend.

Sad news indeed. I have Keep Watching the Skies, and I've exchanged emails with Bill from time to time. I'm sorry to hear this news.

I had no idea he was ill. I always tell people that he is my favorite author. I own the older yellow-cover editions of Keep Watching the Skies.

Sad news, indeed. Bill will be missed.
