I'm just finishing up season one of this series, and until the last few episodes, it seemed pretty dull. Compared to Marvel's Agents of Shield, it's kind of talky.
It's set in the 1940s, of course, so we don't get the high tech stuff I love so much in Agents, nor do we get the cool mutants, scary monsters, super-powered people, strange aliens, bionically enhanced humans, or creepy creatures.
Even when the episodes started getting more interesting towards the end of season one, it still left a lot to be desired.
I hope season two ramps things up a bit . . . but in view of the fact that the series was cancelled, I'm not overly optimistic. However, the article at the link below the trailer is about the possibility of the show moving to Netflix.

The lovely Hayley Atwell is now in the new series called Conviction, which I haven't seen yet, but since I love crime dramas, I intend to start DVRing it. In the promos I've seen, she's as pretty as ever, and she doesn't have to talk with a phony British accent in this one.
(Or was the accent real, and she's speaking with a phony America accent which I just like better, in the new series?)

It's the latter. She's a genuine Brit. _________________ Man need not kneel before the angels,

IMDB has 35 trivia items for this movie. Unfortunately I only found two I wanted to share, in the blue text.

~ Hayley Atwell admitted on Twitter while filming the first season of Agent Carter, she had to go get her picture taken for her driver's license/ID at the Department of Motor Vehicles. As a result, her photo on the card has her in the hairstyle, makeup and outfit of Peggy Carter.
Note from me: Yeah, that's been my problem, too. My drivers license photo looks too good, so the cops thinks I stole it from a handsome guy!
~ Hayley Atwell describes her character's elderly appearance in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014) as a benefit for the show: "We have an opportunity, if the show does go into more seasons, we know that we can explore all of these aspects of her character because we know she lives such a long life and she's had a fulfilled life.
Obviously, the era is 1946 but in the second, third, fourth, fifth season — if it goes onto that — we can explore different time periods. We can explore the late forties, the early fifties, the sixties, the seventies, the eighties, up until present day, so it's very exciting because of that."
Note from me: Too bad the show was cancelled after only two seasons. _________________ ____________

A nitpick, but I always thought that they gave her the wrong pistol. Given the time period it is unlikely that she would have a German pistol. It is more likely that she would have had a Colt 1903 or 1908, the OSS's favorite handgun.
