Art Gilmore's voice is familiar to all of us because of the trailers he did for some of our favorite science fiction movies from the 1950s and 1960s, but I didn't find out the name of this beloved man until today!

Here's 20 trailers which feature Mr. Gilmore's distinctive style of narration. Every one of them puts me in the mood to watch their respective movies (some more than others, of course), but all the trailers are enjoyable.

Have fun, folks! Very Happy

What an awesome collection~!

In a world of movie trailers Art Gilmore was a master of inflection and tone! He made the previews even more exciting than the visuals!

Thanks for compiling these!

Mr. Gilmore did many other trailers, but these seem to be the only sci-fi films from the 1950s and 1960s. I went through All Sci-Fi's chronological index and checked out every trailer that seemed a possible candidate for Art's work, so I doubt I missed very many.

However, if anyone discovers any science fiction titles I miss, just PM me the title and I'll added it the list above.
