This is the R2 forced perspective F-104/Enterprise kit released for the 50th anniversary of TOS.

The only thing new are the decals. Included are markings for all 3 F-104s seen in the episode.

The F-104 is the old 1/48 kit and the Enterprise in the old 1/2500 kit.

The F-104 is a really bad kit. It has almost the correct shape of a Starfighter, very bad detail, a sparse cockpit, and no pilot.

I cast a Capt. Christopher in clear resin mixed with gold glitter. I painted him in clear paint and lit him with a light to simulate him beaming out.

I slightly warped the wings and tail of the -104 to simulate the damage from the Enterprises tractor beam.

I mounted everything on a small canvas painted sky blue and flat white.

When I started this build I had no real plan, If I was to
do it again I would do a few things differently, but
overall I'm happy with how this came out.

An awesome build, and a fine set of photos!

One of these days you really must post a photo of your home, showing just how all these great creations are displayed. We'd love to see that!
