Sad to report the passing of the actor Clint Walker.

Clint's most notable role was in his western TV show ''Cheyenne.''He played the iconic archetype roaming cowboy Cheyenne Bodie.

Warner Brothers produced a number of popular westerns for television back in the 50s that included Cheyenne. Maverick,Lawman,Colt 45,Bronco,and Sugarfoot were all fun entertaining shows.

Will Hutchins(Sugarfoot)is the last lead actor alive from all of those westerns with Clint's passing.

I'm old enough to remember enjoying the WB Westerns in the late 50s and early 60s, including Cheyenne.

The first time I ever saw the Frazetta cover on the paperback edition of Conan the Adventurer in a Woolworth's, it occurred to me that Clint Walker would make a great Conan!

Just look at that face.

My late pal, Ed, thought that Clint looked like the perfect actor for Superman since Ed felt that Superman should be that massive & tall.

I can see that Clint would have the right look in that case but I don't think he'd be the right actor for that role.

Both Clint & Jim Arness were 6'6' 'tall. They must have been the tallest TV cowboys on record.

My sister & her friends met Clint back in the 60s at a party in Texas. She said that he was a total gentleman & could not have been nicer.
