About a week ago I made a post on the Forbidden Planet thread of the Classic Horror Film Board which included a sample page of the Cinefantastique article, and a link to All Sci-Fi with an invitation to anyone who was interested in reading it without having to join the board.

However, I did invite the members there to join All Sci-Fi, and I included the "join by invitation" password as well. I can't reveal it here or we'll get bozos from all over the place who want to join All Sci-Fi just to promote their own websites, like high-interest lending institutions and low-life porno sites! Shocked

Until our tech guy installed the "join by invitation" password requirement for registration a month ago, I had to delete dozens of bogus applicants like that every day!

But I knew it was okay to reveal it to the members of Classic Horror Film Board because they were all legitimate science fiction fans.

So far not one new member has applied for membership to All Sci-Fi. Apparently the progressive demise of quality message boards is worse than I realized.

Facebook stepped in and made it possible for each person to set up their own special interest group.

Unfortunately, there's no structure to FB postings. It's all about What's Happening Now.
