Bud, is there a limit to the size of our posts? Or A limit to how often in a day one can post? Or any limits?

I'm having issues replying to your post of The Decade of Leggy Sci-Fi Babes!

It is quite lengthy and is about Threads with either little or no replies. It is based upon info from https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_science_fiction_television_programs and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_science_fiction_films and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Science_fiction_on_television.

(I've saved it as a Word™ file). 9I'll try again tomorrow afternoon.Eadie)

Also how does one center a picture in a post?

There's no limit on the number of post per day (as far as I know), but there is a limit on the number characters (including spaces) in a single post. A post can't have more than about 50,000 characters. I found that out when I posted the chapters from The Wishbone Express. Two of the chapters were too long and had to be split into an initial "post" followed by a "reply" to include the whole chapter.

I'm sure the two articles are interesting, Miss Eadie, but I'm not sure a lighthearted thread about how much us sci-fi guys like girls' legs is the place for anything that deep.

If the articles actually pertain to short dresses in 1950s sci-fi movies, it would be better to just post a few excerpts and your own comments about them, instead of posting the entire text of two articles that are so long they surpass the board's character limit! Shocked

If the articles aren't abut short skirts, you might consider starting a new discussion in Sci-Fi Discussions in General. Or if the subject is not about sci-fi itself, just about unanswered posts, then you could put it in Off Topic Discussions.
Very Happy

To center a picture, just make a line in front of the image code —

_____________________

— and then make it invisible by making the line either this color for a post with the light gray background . . .

— or this color for the slightly darker background . . . . (The background colors alternate back and forth on each page of a thread.)

Then you have to tinker around with the length of the line until it puts your picture in the middle after you've submited it.

It's tricky, because the "middle" of your post while you're editing it is actually directly under the nose of the red rocket in the logo! (Well, I mean, that's where it is on my laptop. It varies with other computers, so you'll have to experiment. Very Happy

Take a look at your Too Hot to Handle post. I centered your two jpegs. Hit the "edit" button to see how I did it.
