About Today's Featured Threads

Solaris (2002) is a highly regarded remake of an equally highly regarded Russian film. I must confess that I was unimpressed by the Russian film when I saw it in an art house theater in Atlanta back around 1980. If the theater hadn’t treated me to a surprise showing of Hardware Wars (which I’d never even heard of until that day), the evening would have been wasted.

A.I. Artificial Intelligence (2001) is, I’m afraid, even less impressive than Solaris in my own opinion, although it too is highly regarded by many people. I hope you’ll discuss your opinion of the movie and reply to my comments on the thread.

Resident Evil (2001) is a film I haven’t seen yet, but Bogmeister’s review made me want to try it. The late Mr. Bogdan was mighty good at doing that. Very Happy
