If you get ME-TV then check the time for the Route 66 episode Lizard's Leg and Owlet's Wing on Saturday, November 1, 2014. It has Boris Karloff, Peter Lorre and Lon Chaney, Jr. as the special guests!

Wow, I keep wishing I could get ME tv. I keep hearing about the good stuff they show. But at this point, my provider -- Dish -- doesn't even have TCM anymore!

I hope a new deal will bring back TCM, and maybe I'll get ME one of these days. Sad

Oh, by the way -- love those pictures!

I can well understand Karloff's decision to decline appearing in the terrific Abbott & Costello Meet Frankenstein film.

But as I look at this pix of Boris with Lon Chaney all I can think of is how incredible if he had accepted to do the movie.
They'd have had 'em all! Bela as Count Dracula, Karloff as the Monster, Lon as the Wolf Man.

Talk about legendary.

Bud ...

You don't need DISH to watch ME TV, you have ME TV right in your own back yard.

Just go get a good indoor HDTV antenna, connect it to your television, point it in the general direction of the WCCB television station and tune to channel 18.3 and you will be watching ME TV !!!

Doesn't anyone remember that at the end of Bud Abbot & Lou Costello Meet Frankenstein that Vincent Price was the Invisible Man?

That was a nice touch of having Vincent price do the voice of the Invisible Man in A&CMF.

He played the IM in the 1940 movie The Invisible Man Returns.

Bless my soul, I keep forgetting that I bought the Route 66 box set so that Bulldogtrekker (Tim Edwards) and I could watch it while chatting on Facebook (he got his set from the local library). But he passed away before we finished it, and I've never felt a strong urge to watch it by myself.

I miss old Tim . . . (* sigh *)
