She Demons, written and directed by Richard Cunha (who also gave us the schlock classics Missile to the Moon and Frankenstein's Daughter), has always been one of my favorite guilty pleasure movies. It's got statuesque Irish McCalla as a spoiled rich bitch, monster-faced jungle girls, whip-wielding Nazis, incomprehensible science, and a jungle babe dance routine! (Although we're not exactly talking Agnes DeMille choreography here.)

This is one of a number of recently mentioned movies that I have on DVD...along with INVASION USA, WILD WOMEN OF WONGO, GIANT GILA MONSTER, KILLER SHREWS, ISALND OF LOST WOMEN and more. I think only NOT OF THIS EARTH is missing from my collection.
Richard Cunha movies always entertain me. Same with Ed Wood movies.
The concept of what constitutes a "bad" movie is very subjective. I've watched CITIZEN KANE a half dozen times in hopeless attempts to be entertained. It still bores me. SHE DEMONS never bores me. I always enjoy watching it. |

I picked up on the drums right away, but had trouble spotting the brass section.

I'm pretty sure you made a typo, Wayne, but I'm not sure what you actually meant to say. Were you trying to spot the bra section or the ass section?
On second thought, I must be mistaken, because they where both clearly visible . . .

I vaguely remember Sheena, Queen of the Jungle, with Irish McCalla, when I was a kid. I was just beginning to notice that shapely ladies had a strange effect on me.
The effect grew stronger as I got older . . .
