What do we have today? I'll tell ya! Very Happy

A Western adventure in which the cowboys have to wear space suits, a story about a space mission which travels from Earth to . . . Earth, accept that it really isn't, and a wild yarn about a pandemic which causes people to kiss each other and deliberately spread the disease! :shock"

The movie includes scenes of people in New York who are wearing masks so they won't get the virus. That's ironic in view of the fact that we now have idiots who refuse to wear masks to keep from getting the Corona Virus! Sad

Hollywood should make a movie called What's So Bad About Being Stupid? Rolling Eyes

Moon Zero Two (1969 England)

IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production. Very Happy

~ The film was described by the producers and director as a "western in space", complete with claim jumpers, showdown-type gunfights, a hired gunslinger and even dancing saloon girls.

Note from me: The idea of making a science fiction story with a distinctly Western flavor was done well (and seriously) in Firefly. Here, it's just for the humor . . . and not overly successful in that regard.

Journey to the Far Side of the Sun (1969)

IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production.

~ Gerry Anderson has said in interviews that he had to shoot all the important stuff with Patrick Wymark and Ian Hendry in the mornings because both men well known for being heavy drinkers of the booze would go for liquid lunches and would not be able to do much in the afternoons.

Note from me: Apparently these gentlemen liked their liquor more than their careers!

What's So Bad About Feeling Good? (1968)

Opening Statement: Well, I'm still waiting to see this movie again after first enjoying it 50+ years ago while I was in Air Force, stationed in Kunsan, South Korea. Very Happy

But at least YouTube acquired a good copy of the trailer on Aug 22, 2021, so here it is. Mary Tyler Moore was sure a cutey in this movie. I'd love to give her a good feelin', if you know what I mean . . . Twisted Evil

All the scenes in the trailer which show people in New York wearing face masks to guard against the dreaded viruses which "makes people feel good" is ironic! It looks the way the city did a year ago during the height of the pandemic! Shocked
