A movie about a very unusual invasion, as well as two movies that go well with seafood dinners! Smile

I like mine with both tartar sauce and cocktail sauce.

Godzilla vs. The Sea Monster (1966 Japan)

I just couldn't resist the urge to create a poster for this movie with a humorous twist. Laughing

Here's a great idea! A Red Lobster that offers "dinner theater" with Japanese monster movies. Cool, huh?
Cool

The Bubble (19660

I have no doubt that the info about the restoration which Brent provided is absolutely accurate, so I wonder just how true this IMDB trivia item is. It conflicts with the above comments Brent provided.

~ The footage removed and supposedly junked, when the movie was cut down from 112 mins. to 91 mins. in 1968, has been located thanks to the late Deborah Wally's own personal copy of the original print. A re-restoration is planned.

Then again, perhaps the print from Miss Wally is the one being described in Brent's post.

Around the World Under the Sea (1966)

Guys, I am so glad that Bogmeister's "transplanted" reviews from the Galactic Base of Science Fiction have been inspiring new replies on All Sci-Fi! Very Happy

I enjoy reformatting his reviews to re-post them here on our board, in spite of the fact that this processes often takes an hour or two when they're long and include lots of pictures! Shocked

But keeping Andrew Bogdan alive on All Sci-Fi for four years after he passed away in 2015 — a board for which he served as co-site admin from 2008 until 2014 — has been a gratifying experience.

And the fact that his threads still inspire our members to reply to his skillfully written reviews means that my work has been well worth the effort! Cool
