I wasn't just disappointed by Amazing Stories, I was appalled by how bad they were, week after week. Spielberg was the Golden Boy of Hollywood, and I couldn't figure how the guy who gave us Jaws and E.T. could inflict such drivel on the public.

But maybe there's talent out there today who are just itchin' to do now what nobody did back then. The public has come to expect more from television series these days than they got from big budget movies thirty years ago.

Not that they always got it, of course . . . Sad

Brigz-

I'm sure you'll be happy with the new SFT release. The picture quality is impressively better than the old ebay sets.

Have you seen the comments at

My pet chimp likes to act out the famous scene from 2001: A Space Odyssey by screaming and hopping around and reaching up for the DVD player.

Dang! You saw right through me Bud. I have no choice now but to hang around and serve my penance. Might as well start now-- where's the review of "Green Slime?"

Forgot to respond to your request, Dave! Here it is! And it needs a good post by you. Very Happy

YouTube has a number of episodes from this great show, but the picture quality is a far cry from the the DVD's from Shout Factor. Unfortunately, Shout Factory doesn't offer them anymore, so if you haven't gotten them, you're out of luck.
