Great video! Lot's of CGI to illustrate how they're going to build it, and it ends with these shots, panning back and making my heart go pitter patter. Very Happy

The members of All Sci-Fi are aware of the fact that I'm firmly against the illogical and wasteful idea that mankind should colonize Mars!

Why? Confused

Because that planet to too far from Earth, too hostile to support life, and too damn dangerous and expensive to construct a colony on! Hell's bells, it makes about as much sense as building a Hilton Inn in Antarctica! Shocked

For God's sake, who would want to visit a place like that! Why would they go there, and what kind of a damn fool would pay such as exorbitant price for hotel room with a view of a frozen waste which offered nothing but the occasional view of a few pigeons walking by from time to time? Rolling Eyes

And let's face it folks! You wouldn't even get that much on Mars!

Ah-ha . . . but a colony on the Moon could offer deluxe accommodations beyond anything a hotel on Earth could provide!

Consider these attractions. Cool

~ Hotel rooms with panoramic views of the lunar mountains and craters!

~ Skylights which provide a spectacular view of the stars . . . brighter than anywhere on Earth!

~ The constant joy of the Moon's 1/6th gravity, which allows you to literally bounce to anyplace you want to go — from the Hilton Inn's low-gravity swimming pool to the nightly Lunar Dance Contest, where you can experience the true meaning of being "light on your feet"! Very Happy

~ The Hilton Inn Sports Areana , which offers low-gravity basketball, football, soccer, and baseball — all conducted in a manner you'll never see on Earth! Very Happy

Trust me, folks! A colony on the Moon is the vacation of your dreams!

Farsighted industrialist would make a fortune by exploiting the possibilities of Lunar habitations!

And don't forget — the Moon is close enough to Earth for round trips by advanced spacecraft which take less time to reach it than the current trips from New York to Hong Kong! Very Happy

But a colony on Mars . . . well, it should be the place we send violent criminals we don't have the guts to simply execute . . . like THIS guy! Rolling Eyes
