I'm not sure where this belongs, Bud please move it if it needs to be.

These photo's are from a trip in 2019.

The sets are meticulously recreated, and are better than the original sets because instead of light boxes they use computer screens. The sets are lit as they were for filming and audio is piped in.

The sets are mostly oriented as they were on the Desilu soundstage.

Walking on the Enterprise was a very moving experience!

AWESOME!!!

A lot of the Star Trek fan videos were shot there. Star Trek Continues was among them.

A number of years ago my family and I went to THE STAR TREK EXPERIENCE at the Las Vegas Hilton that included a full size bridge from Next Generation. We were "beamed in" from the transporters ands visited the bridge...fully manned by a complete crew in character! That was a very memorable experience for all of us!

Someday we want to go to this display in Ticondoroga NY!

There are some "walkthrough" videos on YouTube.

Thanks, I wasn't sure there would be much interest here. I vacillated for a while about posting them.

Star Trek New Voyages/Phase 2 were shot in Ticonderoga.

Star Trek Continues was shot on the old Starship Exeter fan film sets that ST Continues greatly expanded. The STC sets are in Georgia I believe.

I've not visited them, I'm told they are very nice also.

The Ticonderoga sets are licensed from Paramount to give set tours.

I remember The Star Trek Experience, I went many times.
Walking the corridors of the -D was an experience also!

Somewhere I have photos of Klingons, Vulcans, Ferengi walking around Quarks Bar. We talked the Klingon into sharing a bloodwine with us!

Thank you for sharing these terrific photos; such incredible detail to these sets. The folks who constructed them can be very, very proud.

I would love to see these splendid looking sets in person one day.

You are welcome!

I'm glad to see the positive reactions.

How far are you from Ticonderoga?

A 1 hour guided set tour costs $20.00.

Thats a good deal! And there is a small museum there also.
Basically some of the props and costumes they used in the fan films.

I made it back to Ticonderoga today for another set tour.

They have added a few items. The museum before the tour has been expanded, many costumes were on display along with the props.

They added the Tantalas device in Kirk's quarters.

The Medusan ambassador is in the transporter room with
the screen used anti grav unit.

Kirks quarters set dressing. This head was used in Citizen Kane as a bookend before ending up in the Capt's room.

If I'm remembering correctly, this was built by an Elvis impersonator for his own enjoyment. He later considered that other "Star Trek" fans might also enjoy it. So he opened it up to the public.

He built it for himself and a series of Fan Films he did in the early 2000's. He was an Elvis impersonator, not sure if he still is.

When Paramount put an end to the films he got a license to run set tours.

A 1 hour tour costs $21.

One minor error: The indentifying plaque on Kirk's quarters is in the Arial font -- which wasn't released until 1982!

(If we didn't nitpick, we wouldn't be geeks . . .)
