Just for the fun of it I made a lawn mower key. It symbolizes death to tall grass.

WOW! Shocked

The writer in me sees that and instantly visualizes a Stephen King novel about a crazed gardener who rides around at night and murders people by mowing them down! Twisted Evil

I couldn't resist the urge to make the cover of the book.

Now I'm going to have nightmares about being chased through the darkness by a roaring riding mower driven by a cackling maniac! Shocked

Yep, like the phrase people use to indicate that somebody is in deep trouble — "Your ass is grass!"

Except in this case, "The grass' ass is . . . grass." Confused

Gord, you're a genius! D:

Stephen King must be one of All Sci-Fi's many "silent members" who enjoy our posts without ever posting anything themselves. He sent me a PM to ask if he could combine the two concepts we've discussed and turn it into his next book!

What a concept! Who could possibly be better to battle the Killer Crabgrass than The Yard Man and his death-dealing, super-charged riding mower?

Think of the titanic battles when the novel is made into a movie! The Yard Man would plow into a squad of Killer Crabgrass and quickly chop them into toss salad . . . only to turn around and discover a platoon of vicious vegetation attacking from the rear! Shocked

Stephen said he was going to become a vegan for a month just to put himself in the proper frame of mind to write the novel. I volunteered to design the cover, and he said he'd be honored.

So . . . here it is! Very Happy
