https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frogs_(film)

Quote:
Frogs is a 1972 American horror film directed by George McCowan. The film falls into the "eco-horror" category, telling the story of an upper-class U.S. Southern family who are victimized by several different animal species, including snakes, birds, lizards, and butterflies. The movie suggests nature may be justified in exacting revenge on this family because of its patriarch's abuse of the local ecology. The film was theatrically released on March 10, 1972.

Frogs are magnificent creatures — perfectly at home on land or in water. They're skilled hunters, true evolutionary survivors, and one of God's most magnificent creations!

And they're absolutely delicious, too! Very Happy

Creepy movie watching the various animals do away with the humans.

Lynn Borden (1937~2015) who played Jenny Crockett was a cutie.

I didn't find the movie scary at all, but I did find Sam Elliott's performance ribbeting.

I'm sorry to hear that the lovely young lady had to croak. I'm sure I'd jump at the chance to leap into bed with her. Even if she happened to be a difficult person to live with in some ways, I'd love her, warts and all (as they say).

I'm sure her admirers used to swamp the lady with fan mail. She looks like the kind of girl who could make a handsome prince magically appear just by kissing an anura.
Cool

Well, Bud, you win the Pun-Off.

I should be hopping mad, but am actually green with envy. You seemed more Kermitted to the idea, which I toadally understand.
