Ah-ha! You're dead right. I saw the movie for the first time recently, and yet I had to read the Wikipedia plot summary to be sure I was getting the facts correct when I wrote my reply above. Very Happy

So, I agree that the movie didn't make the situation as clear as they should have, and in doing do they missed to chance to make it as creepy as they could have.
