https://www.imdb.com/title/tt0091248/

Originally part of the Disneyland TV series, but long enough to be a feature .

According to the tags in the IMDB entry and the video description here (the feature in 1080p quality), it was also an unsold TV pilot.

Hey, what a great discovery, Ralfy! Very Happy

Scott Bakula, three years before Quantum Leap — and with black hair! He looks strange without that steak of gray above his forehead..

And the young boy who plays his son starred in Disney's Flight of the Navigator the same year this came out. Cool

_______ I-MAN (1986) Scott Bakula, Joey Cramer

Saw this one when it was first aired. I'm a fan of Scott in general, and of his Quantum Leap SF TV series in particular.

As best as I can recall, it was an interesting concept of fusing man & machine. Entertaining enough, but had this been picked up as a weekly series it wouldn't have set the SF TV world on fire and become a true classic. Kind of an updated Six Million Dollar Man vibe was the feel of this show. Fun but forgettable.
