I hope this new theory pans out, and that the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) can soon find the "Nexas" Graviton.

It would open the door to 'Dark Energy' for true anti-gravity spacecraft launch/propulsion/landing. Very Happy

Larry, as a trained physicist I've been watching this with the same high hopes. But there is one more thing it could lead to. A working theory of time that would allow travel through time!

Butch... I ignore time travel, because it gives me a headache to think about it. I believe that once anyone (or thing) travels back in time... they can never return to the same 'present' time. I think there are infinite timelines they would be lost in.

But, if anti-gravity is used and not exceed light speed... then I'm all for it! Good bye to rockets, and hello to clean, quiet, and cool, flying saucer shuttlecraft! Very Happy

But, I would still use F-T-L 'space-warp' drive for long voyages - like interstellar. However I would not care that it creates the time-travel problem - because I would consider it as a 'one way' mission.
