YouTube has a number of episodes from this great show, and the picture quality suggests that they're from the restored DVDs sold by Shout Factory.

From IMDB: Researchers studying new antibiotics are finding themselves accused of uncharacteristic behaviors, which they can't recall. Could the ergot-derived compound be affecting their brains?

Strange things are going on a research lab. Macdonald Carey takes over after the project head is arrested after he murdered a cleaning lady for no apparent reason! Shocked

But the other scientist start acting crazy too!

Sometimes they're hostile towards him — while other times they're friendly! And yet afterwards they have no memory of their strange behavior. The reason turns out to be caused by the mold spores in the air of the laboratory, spores which were the result of the work their doing on a new drug.

In Truman Bradley's epilogue he states that the drug the story was based on was LSD, and this was the very first mention of LSD as a psychodelic in the popular media, long before the extreme effects of the drug became better understood i n the Swingin' Sixties! Cool
