Something you might like.

Husband & wife mimes, Shields & Yarnell, had a variety TV show years ago. There's a segment where stop-motion animation is wonderfully & cleverly utilized to pay a salute to legendary movie comedy teams.

Check it out on Youtube under Shields & Yarnell claymation. Lasts about a minute-&-a-half.

Welcome, Bruce.

I would have loved to have seen the artists be allowed to do a longer version of this segment, it goes by too fast for my liking.

I also would have liked to have seen included, Bob Hope & Bing Crosby because of their hilarious Road Pictures for Paramount. Jackie Gleason & Art Carney from The Honeymooners. Dick & Tom Smothers.

A sequel could have all the marvelous ventriloquists. I know this one had Edgar Bergen & Charlie McCarthy, but we could feature them again but this time have Mortimer Snerd included. Paul Winchell & Jerry Mahoney & Knucklehead Smiff, Jimmy Nelson with Danny O'Day & Farfel, Shari Lewis with her Lamb Chop & Hush Puppy, and Senor Wences with Padro & Johnny.

This could have been a regular feature on the Shields & Yarnell Show. Each week salute some genre via a claymation segment.

Great science fiction movies, westerns, silent screen comedians, and so forth and so on. Coulda been fun.
