A wonderful Syd Mead painting of a 1959 Chevy Bel Air Hovercar.

This is the La Marquise is the world's oldest running automobile. It is an 1884 model made by Frenchmen De Dion, Bouton and Tr??pardoux. The car was a quadricycle prototype named for de Dion's mother. At one time this was considered the future!

Nice picture of the 1959 Chevy Bel Air Hovercar, but I've always preferred 1960 Chrysler 4x-1, with sexy green repulser rays and the big honkin' fins.

It's one those cars that looks as good in real life as it does in it's advertising art.

That is definitely NOT a Syd Mead illustration! Not his style at all.

You're right, Scot.

Eadie has long since grown up and found other things to do besides post on All Sci-Fi. She went off to college when she was eighteen. She's about 26 years old now.

After Butch finally left the board in disgrace after being told repeatedly to stop posting bullshit, I eventually realized that he'd started posting bullshit under Eadie's name!

She's his Goddaughter, and he had access to her login in info.

In fact, a few years ago Butch sent me an email claiming to be Eadie, telling me that Butch had died of Covid-19. It was sent using Butch's email, not Eadie's. Rolling Eyes

If that doesn't prove that Butch is a damn fool, I don't know what does.

So, pay no attention to any posts under Eadie's name which was posted in the last nine years They're all actually by you-know-who. Sad
