A good show, especially the first season.

IMDB has several interesting trivia items for this production. Very Happy
__________________________________________________

~ The opening title sequence depicting the germ being transferred from China via air travel all around the world is often referred to as one of the most memorable and frightening titles ever made for television.

Note from me: Well my goodness, doesn't this sound eerily familiar. Life imitates art! Shocked

Here's two related items.

~ Creator Terry Nation left after the first series because of differences with producer Terence Dudley.

~ Carolyn Seymour was dropped after the first series due to a difficult relationship with producer Terence Dudley.

Note from me: Mr. Dudley doesn't seem to get along with his cast.

~ The children, John and Lizzie, were originally played by the real life children of the producer (Stephen Dudley, son of Terence Dudley) and one of the regular writers (Tanya Ronder, daughter of Jack Ronder).

Note from me: Looks like Mr. Dudley has better relationships with cast members if they're his . . . relations. Very Happy
