JOHN AGAR - Crown this man the King of the B Movies. Mr. Agar appeared in more 1950s science fiction movies than anybody except the great Morris Ankrum, but in Agar's case he usually played a starring role. All of Agar's movies were shot on an extremely low budget, with the exception of "Tarantula" (directed by Jack Arnold).
At one time Agar was married to legendary child-star Shirley Temple after playing Ms. Temple's husband in John Ford's 1948 cavalry classic "Fort Apache" (starring John Wayne and Henry Fonda).
The sci-fi films starring John Agar are;
Attack of the Puppet People
The Brain from Planet Arous
Daughter of Dr. Jekyll
Hand of Death
Invisible Invaders
Journey to the Seventh Planet
The Mole People
Revenge of the Creature
The Rocket Man
Tarantula
The Women of the Prehistoric Planet
Zontar: The Thing From Venus. _________________ ____________
