Batman, the 1943 Columbia serial, starts on TCM this Saturday and runs each Saturday until it finishes.

Ya know, I always thought that the Batman suit in the 2 serials were superior to the one for the BM TV show which came along many years later.

Trivia: The Bat Cave was originally created via the Batman serial & not in the comic books.

Bulldogtrekker and I rendezvoused on Facebook Saturday morning and tuned in to TCM to watch the Batman serial and chat about it while we watched.

It was fun! We might do that ever Saturday for the run of the serial.

I call it Breakfast with Batman! Very Happy

Or perhaps, Dining with the Dynamic Duo.

Hey, how 'bout Dunkin' Doughnuts with the Dark Knight?

Oh, oh, oh! Here's a good one! Crepe Suzette with the Cape Crusader!

God I'm witty . . . Laughing

If anybody else has Facebook and TCM and a computer near your TV, join Tim and I this Saturday morning for Chapter 2 - The Bat's Cave

Heed the call, people. Gotham needs your help!

Forgive me for saying this, but compared to the MUCH better costumes in the various movies, both the one in the serials and the one in the TV series are ridiculous!

The one in the serials is unintentionally funny, and the one in the TV show is designed to be funny, just like everything else in the series.

On the other hand, Catwoman's costume was certainly no laughing matter . . . Shocked
