I've a copy of the book! The one I saw years ago in the uni library was entitled Monkey Planet. I'll read it next time and let you know how it goes.

I confess that the only thing I remember about the book was an early scene in which the human sees a gorilla sitting on the ground in a forest, wearing the clothes of hunter, and hold a rifle.

I might be totally mistaken, but it seemed like such a lame version of the "human hunting" scene in the movie that I just lost interest it in the novel. Sad

Same here Bud,

I tried to read the book years ago, but I just couldn't get into it. My rule on books is, if i can't get interested in 50 pages I'm done with it.

The only exception, so far, is Hawking's "A Brief History of Time". I had to give that book about 75 pages, but it was worth it in the end.

I think I'll wait until the movie for that one comes out . . . Confused
