Mickey Rooney produced and starred in this alleged science fiction comedy about a uranium prospector who stumbles into an atomic bomb test and acquires the ability to make Las Vegas slot machines pay off. The bad guys are Communists agents, naturally.
Blake Edwards (director of the "Pink Panther" series and "The Great Race") wrote the story on which the script was based, but the end result is far from hysterical. Co starring Whit Bissell ("The Time Machine") and Robert Strauss ("4-D Man"). Directed by Leslie H. Martinson.
Warning: I tried to watch it once and could NOT get through it. _________________ ____________

Joe Dante has interesting things to say about this movie, based on his fond memories of it from his childhood. The YouTube video is short and entertaining.
