_______
Pilot Mikal Conrad ("The Flying Saucer") is found on a life raft at sea. Amnesia prevents him from remembering what happened to his plane or his crew, so a doctor administers sodium pentothal. Under the drug's influence Conrad tells a bizarre story; he and three fellow crewmen survived the crash of their World War II aircraft and wound up on an uncharted island populated by dinosaurs.
They were captured by the local natives — scantily clad women who wanted the men for breeding purposes.
The women are descendants of the ancient Druids, and the only males they've ever seen are hairy brutes who periodically raid the island. The four airmen are happy to be of service to the ladies, but eventually a volcano erupts and kills everybody except Conrad.
Careful: it sounds much better than it looks. The dinosaurs are photographically enlarged lizards (and an armadillo), plus a few carnivorous plants. The footage is borrowed from (yep, you guessed it) One Million B.C.
This one is not highly recommended. Directed by W. Merle Connell. _________________ ____________

When you see one of these low budget movies with groups of women doing a silly, badly choreographed dance, you just have to wonder what it was like on the set when they were rehearsing the ridiculous dance moves.
Were the girls suppressing their giggles so the director wouldn't get mad and fire a few of them? Or were the ladies so inexperienced they wouldn't know good dance moves from a barefoot person trying to walk on hot asphalt?
While watching the trailer below, keep in mind that the tribal dance was performed outside, so the ladies probably didn't even have music they could dance to — just the director shouting, "1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8!"
Ah yes, the glamorous life of a Hollywood actress . . .

Oh joy! Oh rapture! We can finally watch this rare gem in the comfort of our own home!
You'll love the way the women all speak like the dialog was taken from the Old Testament. Here's the exchange when the crew of crashed aircraft at sea make their way to an charted island.

"I promise, miss. We come here in peace."
"In peace? Then why doth thou come here bearded, like our enemies?"
"We're not your enemies."
"Then why hath thou come our island?"
"Our plane crashed in the ocean."
"The man hath lost his senses! Thou sayeth thee can fly like a bird? If this be not a trick, then show us now. The sky is open to you."

So, we have a wisecrack group of Air Force guys, an island populated by a dozen pretty girls in jungle mini-dresses, a tribe of hairy cavemen who battle the ladies, a few liazrd-a-sauruses, and a volcano that erupts in the climax!
I have GOT to watch this movie. It looks like fun!

Maybe they learned English from visiting Quaker missionaries.
But if you're going to use archaic pronouns and verb tenses, at least use them correctly!

Verily, good sir, I may have misheard a few of the fair damsel's ancient utters from that faraway island — and thus spelleth them incorrectly!
If that be the case, please accept my most profound apologies!
Perhaps thou would be willing to share this noblest of "Lost World" adventures in one of our magical All Sci-Fi Live Chats, whereby we would be spirited away to that enchanted island and experience all the charms of its fair maidens!
It's just a thought, kind sir. Just a thought . . . _________________ ____________
