Zombie-like Nazi soldiers on an island!

A small group of vacationers pick the wrong island to stop over at. Both Peter Cushing and John Carradine have small roles, though they are the big names.

Carradine is the old drunken ship's skipper, and Cushing is the isolated mad scientist who was part of the effort to create a better Nazi army. Brooke Adams stars in an early role.

The movie is creepy but also on the slow side. The filmmakers focused a lot on these creatures rising from beneath the waters, about to do something nasty. But I wished that they moved a little faster.
