Model boating season just opened and I wanted to post a picture or two from yesterday's action at the Assiniboine Park Duck Pond. But, in addition, I see one of my old model boating buddies has just posted an OLD video (20 years old!!) of some action at the old pond when we first got together as model boaters.

It's interesting to me because I make several appearances and I was not aware of this video.

At 1:16 look for young (36 year old) Brent Gair smoking a giant stogie. That's me at 1:40 carrying a big nuc sub...and fiddling with it again at 3:40 and later.
