_____

Director Richard E. Cunha (of "Missile to the Moon" infamy) presents what might tactfully be called one of the lesser efforts in the Frankenstein genre.

Donald Murphy plays the grandson of the legendary doctor. His fiendish experiments not only produce a surgically-assembled monster but also a drug-created creature.

The first of these is an aging actor with unconvincing melted-flesh makeup on one side of his face and the rest of his head covered in bandages. The second of the two is a girl (Sandra Knight) whom the doctor injects with a drug that turns her into a hideous beast with big horsy teeth.

This, we must assume, is the "daughter" of the film's title. The monster which Miss Knight supposedly turns into is actually played by a man.

Also starring John Ashley, Sally Todd, and Harold Lloyd, Jr. Originally co-billed with "Missile to the Moon", director Richard E. Cunha's other epic cheapo.

for the longest time, I thought the mad doctor was Whit Bissel. Either way, he brings the art of chewing scenery to a whole new level.
