My wife sent me this... pretty cool... I think I'd be afraid to sit in it though...

This 'Star Trek' Enterprise home office would make Scotty jealous.
Boldly go where no man has worked before with this impressive "Star Trek" Enterprise computer table and office chair presented in the latest episode of "Super-Fan Builds"..

That's certainly cool. CNet writer Bonnie Burton's one of my favorite Web people. My only problem with that desk is that the engine tubes would be banging into the wall every time I get out of my chair. I'm kind of suspecting this guy doesn't sit there very often, though.

No. Based on what I saw in the video the fellow does appear a bit on the hefty side. He even said it's a little small. So I don't imagine it would be very practical to actually sit in.

I'll tell you who I'd like to see sitting in it -- the attractive young lady in the video . . . dressed in a TOS crewman's uniform. Very Happy

The video of those amazing people creating that desk is a joy to behold. Great stuff.

I agree. Not only was she hot but she was handy with tools too! The best of both worlds.
