You are exactly right.
Another is un-hidden zippers in the back and dresses that are slightly star trek inspired.

Zippers in the back of dresses predate ST by a few decades. You only have to watch movies from the 1930s on to see that.

In TOS, GR didn't want any zippers, or buttons visible on the costumes, or even pockets. Nothing that would look 20th century. They had pretty much given up on that by time TNG shows came around.

No, you misunderstood.
Women now wear dresses with zippers in the back that are not covered with cloth flaps. It is a new style trend. That part is not a reference to Star Trek.
