By gum, Ralfy, I was certain we had a thread for this movie — but we didn't!
Thanks to you, however, we do now — and I just added it to this forum's Alphabetical and Chronological Indexes!
For decades I didn't even know there was an actual movie with this salacious title . . . until TCM aired it.
Back in the early 1960s, my friend (Jimmy Harmon) used that title one day while he and I were making an audio recording on reel-to-reel tape.
We were improvising a comedy sketch in which Jimmy played a lecherous "late show host" call Monstro, and I provided the voices for callers on the phone — such as outraged parents who objected to Monsro's show, or dirty old men who liked it!
On one such recording, Jimmy and I created a episode of Monstro's late show when we presented an imaginary movie called Mud Monster from Slime Land.
We did all the voices and sound effects, all improvised as we went along. D)
I still have the tape. It's certainly no comedic masterpiece, but thanks to Jimmy, it has some very funny moments.
Jimmy and I also did some 8mm stop motion films together.

From Wikipedia & IMDB:
The production was filmed at Cinecitta Studios in Rome.
The werewolf transformations, unlike most werewolf movies, were shot in reverse. The shooting would begin with the actor in full werewolf make-up, then it would be removed bit-by-bit as the camera rolled. The whole process shot with dissolves took over 3-hours.
The lead male actor, Carl Schell, is the younger brother of Maximilian Schell, and Maria Schell.
I remember seeing this film years ago on late night TV and being totally underwhelmed with it. The werewolf make-up is mediocre. Wonder if Mystery Science Theater 3,000 has taken this movie on? They really should have.
