__________

Enjoy this exceptional Starlog article from issue #12.

The article's pictures didn't look as good as they were supposed to, so I "upgraded" them with better versions . . . and in color, too! Very Happy

Click on each page here to see a large, easy-to-read version you can zoom in on. Click on the large version again, and then zoom in as close as you want!

Below each image (except the duplicate of the first and second pages, combined) you'll see this:

Beautiful! I've enjoyed his work ever since I discovered it in art class. And I came to appreciate it more after seeing Conquest Of Space and War Of The Worlds.

Now that I've discovered how much fun it is to upgrade the picture on the magazine articles I post from Archive.org, I'm going to make the unenhanced versions available through a link under each enhanced version so you folks will see what I started with and what I managed to do to improve it. Very Happy

It's not only possible, Butch, I already did it back on June 4th! Very Happy

Click on the link below and scroll down to the very article you mention.

I didn't have to replace any pictures because they looked fairly good. If you want to compare my post to the original scans, here's the link to the Archive.org site that has the magazine, although the scans were so good I didn't have to do much to improve the text clarity.
