I failed to mention that this is not Tim Russ!!!

President Obama gives "Vulcan salute" in photo with Nichelle Nichols of "Star Trek"

The original news story is from the Washington Post, here is a link:

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/44?tw_p=twt

EDIT: The link is no longer working but I believe the President told Nichelle he watched the original series.

The President's daughter Malia would make a cute Vulcan.

Pretty girl, isn't she?

A laughing Vulcan. Must have been "touched" by Sybok.

Scotspen, your Hostpic image of Malia Obama stopped working (Hostpic is bad about that), so I replaced it. I just picked an image, because I didn't know what yours was.

However, based on certain features, this just might be the one you chose! She has her father's ears. Very Happy

(I mean, I literally used her father's ear from the photo of Tuvok Obama in the post above!)

You resisted the temptation to change her T-shirt to the All Sci-Fi one, anyway. Wink

Of course not! That would be ridiculous! (Besides, I didn't think of it. Rolling Eyes)

And getting her hair to hang in front of the ASF logo would be tough. (Not impossible . . . just tough. Very Happy)
