I scream. You scream. We all scream for ice cream.

And for dinosaurs. Very Happy

Science has yet to learn how to recreate them from recovered DNA, but we have learned how to recreated them with CGI.

Prior to that, the best method was SMA (an acronym I just made up for Stop Motion Animation). It started with The Lost World in 1925 and went plum ape in King Kong. Sixty years later, Jurassic Park was almost done with stop motion, but Spielberg had never liked animation, so when the FX guys said, “Hey, let’s do it another way!” Steven said, “Hell, yes!”

And a star was born.

If you dig dinosaurs (even though you're not a paleontologists) —

— press this button and say a few kind words in memory of those Worlds we’ve Lost.
