Netflix has done it again.

There's only ten episodes in season 1 of this series, but the critics gave it high marks, so I should be done binge watching it by Saturday if I start today (Tuesday, at about 4:00 pm EST) and watch three or four per day.

It looks pretty good. Here's the trailer.

I think you'll enjoy this Bud.

I've watched through to the fifth and love it.

Some slower spots, but you've got to learn about the characters backstories as well as the world they inhabit.

There are touches of "Back to the Future", robots and talking apes: hints of superheroes, men in black, and the "real string pullers" of reality.

With high hopes, I started watching this well-regarded series — but somehow it just didn't have the appeal I expected. Sad

However, when that's happened in the past I've found it best to put aside the movie or series and wait until a later time, just to give myself a while to adjust my expectations. Cool

Based on the enthusiastic recommendations of my buddy, Gord Green (who is extremely wise in these matters) I think I'll dive back into this fabulous fantasy world in the near future, with the hope that it will win me over they way it's done with so many others!

Wish me luck, guys. Very Happy

I still think this is an awesome series. As I said there are some rather slower spots, but they give the viewer a better idea of the characters, and the series builds to a climax with more than a few twists and turns.

Of course I may have just a bit more admiration for the story because I've read the entire graphic novel series it's adapted from. There are touches of CHILDREN OF THE DAMNED in the overall plot. (And here's a secret clue....Their father is an alien!)

I'm looking forward to the next season, coming soon from NETFLIX!
