This is the last group of threads with Rick’s delightfully stories about his boyhood experiences when he and his friends went to the LeRose Theater to enjoy B-movies from the 1950s.

But tomorrow I think I’ll offer a few of my own posts about movies I saw when I was just a kid.

Recently I had a few phone conversations with my oldest friend in the world, a guy I’ve known since the 5th grade, and he regaled me with tales of our boyhood adventures in Atlanta! Very Happy

My friend reminded me that when we were barely twelve years old we rode the public buses downtown to see movies at the Fox, the Loews Grand, and others theaters when we were kids — as well as numerous trips to the nearby East Point Theater, where we sometimes spent entire days in that small neighboring town — watching movies, going to the bowling alley next to the theater, and having lunch at the local Krystal restaurant!
