Welcome to the weekend! Kick back, relax, and further your education by engaging in remote learning through The Pow Institute of Hollywood History! Very Happy

Daily classes are presented through the internet, and students are permit to offer feedback after each session.

Three sessions are presented below, and students are encouraged to learn at their own rate, pausing to contemplate any complex ideas which require some time to digest.

Please remember that adding replies to the lessons is strongly advised. You're grades will reflect the amount of feedback you provide.

But don't worry . . . it's as easy as passing the Kobayashi Maru test! Cool

SeaQuest DSV (1993-1996)

Opening Statement: Roy Scheider's character of Captain Nathan Bridger was based upon oceanographer Dr. Robert Ballard & scientist John C. Lilly. Dr. Ballard served as a technical consultant to the show.

Dr. Ballard would also appear at the end of each episode in the first season where he would inform the audience of current undersea research being done. The research usually was related to the content of that week's particular episode.

UFOs - SiriusDisclosure.com

Opening Statement: Given humans' penchant to wage bloody wars upon one another since we invented warfare, it is for the best that other worlds cannot visit one another.

The vast differences and/or lack of technology to cover immense distances in outer space may be the best thing that happened to all lifeforms.

Doorways (1993)

Opening Statement: It has been interesting to read George R.R.Martin's original script for the "Doorways" TV movie/pilot and see just how different it was from the filmed TV movie.

In the TV movie we see Cat & Tom journey to an alternate Earth where oil and gas nor longer exist.

On this Earth, scientists had created an oil eating microbe in order to clean up the environment whenever there was a disastrous massive oil spill.
