Two great science fiction movies — one old and one new — and a great fantasy with animation by you-know-who! 
Both of the sci-fi movies present hi-tech futures by dazzling us with great special effects, so they definitely hold their own against the marvelous stop motion of the fantasy film.
But I was surprised to discover that Geostorm only has two replies to the thread's initial posts — and their all by me! 
Gosh, am I the only one with any interest in that movie!

Geostorm (2017)
Opening Statement: I watched my new Blu-ray of this great movie today, and I was impressed all over again. This is an awesome science fiction movie in every way. It impresses me far more than any of the recent Star Trek or Star Wars movies — although I admit I love them as well. Cool
But this one is a "thinkin' man's" science fiction story, the kind we love to read and contemplate — rather than the kind we just watch.
