YouTube has a number of episodes from this great show, and the picture quality suggests that they're from the restored DVDs sold by Shout Factory.

From IMDB: Arctic workers discover a frozen mammoth, which is quickly transported to a research institute. Upon thawing, and with a little galvanic shock, investigations take an interesting turn.

Admittedly this isn't the best episode in the series, and the picture quality of the YouTube video is not as good as most of the others, but it presents its concept with the usual skill.

A baby mammoth is found in the arctic, and it's extracted carefully so that when the scientists thaw it out in laboratory they succeed in resuscitating the animal, bringing it back to life.

The baby elephant used to portray the mammoth is fairly well augmented with appliances to make it look like a mammoth. The fake tusks look completely realistic! The sparness of the hair is explained as a result of it being encased in the ice.

All in all, this is an enjoyable episode, with skillful writing, good acting, and fine direction. I'm sure it was a crowd pleaser among its young audience in 1955.

I actually remember Truman Bradley's opening demonstration, in which he places a fish encased in a block of ice into an aquarium. As the ice melts, the frozen ice fish struggles free of the ice and swims away! Shocked Very Happy
