Are We Invaded? S1 E36

This, I'm sorry to say, is one of the few Science Fiction Theatre episodes that aren't available on Youtube. Sad

But it's a wonderful story, and this is what IMDB says about it. __________________________________________________

From IMDB: A journalist sees a UFO and goes on a quest to discover the truth about them. What he finds is far beyond anything either he or anyone else ever suspected.

Fortunately I have the Shout Factory box set, and this color episode is beautifully restored. Cool

Veteran actor Pat O'Brien stars as an astronomer who doesn't believe the his daughter (Lisa Gaye) and her finace' (Richard Erdman) when the tell about the amazing object they saw one evening from a hilltop in "Lover's Lane".

But a man who introduced himself as Mr. Galleon (Anthony Eustrel) showed up unexpectedly shortly after the "saucer" went by and asked the couple for a ride back to town. Some later he gave Richard Erdman a photograph to show to the doubting astronomer — a picture he said might change the astronomer's mind.

When Pat O'Brien examined it, he was astonished. He proclaimed that it as photo of our solar system . . . taken from outside Pluto's orbit.

Gentlemen, Shout Factory no longer sells their box set with the "fully restored" version of this great series.

But Amazon still has one left for sale, so if you'd like to own the box set of this only restored version of this series, get off your ass and order it today — because I'm tempted to buy it as a "collectors item".
Shocked
