Which movie will you choose to comment on?

~ The one with submarine that goes inside a person’s body.

~ The one about a supercomputer that wants to take over the world.

~ The one about a large extraterrestrial bird as big as a battleship.

Fantastic Voyage (1966)

The flying sub, of course, looks like an aquatic vehicle that also flies. The Voyager looks like an aircraft in every way.

And even the flying sub looks like an aircraft in some ways, of course, because it's design was inspired by a manta ray -- which looks a lot like an aircraft.

Me, I like my submarines to look like submarines. They can be new and sleek and futuristic -- but basically they're submarines.

Terminator Genisys (2015)

I saw this one recently, and it is awesome!

The story is sufficiently complex and imaginative to confuse enough of the critics to get this move several "mixed reviews". But in my opinion the story is like the living room floor on Christmas morning for a kid whose parents don't know how to say no to their little angle. Here's a plot packed with more goodies than a pi??ata, one of those movies you know is shooting things past you faster than you can catch them in one viewing — which is a good thing, because you're getting more than your money's worth.

Wikipedia includes these quotes from the critics.

The Los Angeles Times said critics found Terminator Genisys to be a "messy sequel" that was a "convoluted retread" of past films. According to TheWrap, critics found the time travel storyline to be "convoluted" and that the performances were "unremarkable" aside from Schwarzenegger reprising his role.

Well, let me see now. Which part of that do I agree with? Ummm . . . the part which said it was a sequel with a story involving time travel, and that Arnold did what he promised: He came back.

In addition to Mr. Schwarzenegger, the lovely Emilia Clarke plays Sara Conner. She does a fine job.

And I didn't even realize she was the hot blonde with the loyal pets in Game of Thrones until I was looking for a good picture of her and saw this one.

Anyway, the movie is highly recommended by yours truly, so don't let anyone talk you out of watching it.

The Giant Claw (1957)

____________________________________________

Faster than a speeding bullet!

More powerful than a locomotive (which he finds quite tasty . . . )

Able to leap onto tall buildings in a single bound!

Look! Up in the sky!

It's bird!

It's plane!

No, by God! It's both!

Yes, it's Superbird, fowl creature from another planet who came to Earth and pitted its strange powers against mortal man! And even though it was defeated . . . it was defiant to the very end!

* Thanks to Wayne for his great picture. I couldn't resist using it again here. Very Happy
