Here's how IMDB describes this movie (which I haven't seen yet).
________________________________

Six challenging months after the horrific events of 28 Days Later (2002), when the unstoppable Rage Virus decimated the entire city of London, the U.S. Army has restored order and is repopulating the quarantined city.

However, after the first wave of returning refugees, an unsuspecting carrier of the highly transmittable pathogen enters the dead city, and unknowingly re-ignites the spread of the deadly infection. Indeed, the virus is not yet dead, and this time, it is more dangerous than ever. Will the nightmare begin again?

This all sounds remarkably like the Corona virus "variant" which broke out recently . . . in Great Britain. Creepy, huh? Shocked

The franchise is good, but too freaky for me because the creatures move quickly, and the jarring camera movement makes that even more frightening.

I think the third movie's stuck in development hell:

Finally, for those who want something less gory, consider World War Z, which has a PG rating. Too bad there's no news about a sequel for that, too.
