This is to be a Netflix movie that is also to get a theatrical release in some areas. It is scheduled to be released during December 2023.

A movie that Zack Snyder pitched as a Star Wars film but was turned down. I can see why. From what is released, it is another SF version of the "Seven Samurai".

From Wikipedia: "A peaceful colony on the edge of the galaxy is threatened by the armies of a tyrannical regent named Balisarius. The desperate civilians dispatch Kora, a young woman who has a mysterious past to seek out warriors from nearby planets to help them challenge the regent."

But it looks like Netflix put a lot of money into the production, and is banking on it to be big. They are talking about a animated film to introduce the universe, and a video game.

They are filming the second film, "Rebel Moon 2" at the same time as the first film.

I miss the fine posts by Krel (David).

I hope he hasn't left us because of health problems. I know that several of All Sci-Fi's members no longer post because of their age or health issues. Sad

And of course, we have a growing list of members who have past away!
