I also was very hopeful when this came out. Unfortunately it underwhelmed me, along with most other viewers in 1977.

While not "The Starlost" Bad, it disappointed.

Thats what I've suspected since the announcement that season 5 would be the last.

I'm looking forward to that. It will be interesting to see how they handle the timeline with the changes.

I'm late watching season 3 of SNW.

We are up to episode 4.

So far I think its the weakest of the seasons.
A little too fluffy, a little too predictable, a little forced at times.

Yah, Fred Frieberger (the guy who produced season 3 of TOS) was called in to "fix" the show.

So Prof. Bergman and Paul were axed

Tony and Maya were added.

I agree on all accounts.
It probably helps that they only do 10 episodes a season
and are not constrained by the weekly time limit of a classic TV series.

Emergency repair, yes it should be much easier on an inflatable than a hard structure.
